Intrinsic motivation comes when doing something that makes us happy and understanding the value of doing it. They learn about a subject that they are interested in and enjoy the sense of mastering the subject and it excited to any work on the subject. This is called intrinsic motivation. However extrinsic motivation is the determination to do something because completing the activity will lead to something else. The extrinsic motivators include living up to the expectation of parents, getting grades for a scholarship, or earning the potential of a certificate or a degree.
